MY PRESENT MEDICAL STATUS
NEW DIAGNOSIS 03 / 29 / 2006
I just completed another week in the hospital. The diagnosis this time was a condition known as NEUROCARDIOGENIC SYNCOPE, an interference between signaling mechanisms from the brain to the heart that controls blood pressure. So, the list grows of conditions I have contracted since my first use of Aldara in January/February of 2000. Many, may say I would have been expected to have some of these present conditions in the absence of my use of Aldara, and that is possible of course. If you believe in very long-shots.
However, given that NONE of these present TWELVE CONDITIONS I have are found in either side of my family's medical history, one can only surmise that many if not all my conditions are the result of my use of Aldara. Also, a number of my conditions are autoimmune conditions which Aldara is known to induce. Clinical research clearly indicates my other conditions can be induced by Aldara's drug mechanism as well.
My medical costs have long left my family in financial destitution. We no longer have medical insurance and have had to sell everything we owned to just make it this far. I just hope that should you use Aldara, your experience, if injured, will lead you on a course of action very different to the one I took in trying to achieve normalcy in your life. Expect no help from anyone as you suffer through it all then you will not be so depressed and let down when none is received. This, unfortunately, is just the way the American system works for the common guy on the street.

NEW DIAGNOSIS 7 / 25 / 05
On July 21, 05, my neurologist diagnosed me with having Parkinson's Disease. Unrelated to the Parkinson's Disease, he told me I will need further MRI/CAT scans of the head to further determine the extent of the unrelated nerve damage within the brain that his tests indicate exists. He tells me we will know much more about the damage within the coming days and weeks. I will post each update as I receive them right here. Insurance related issues will determine if and when further tests occur.
Nearly five years after my “treatment” with Aldara for a BCC lesion on my forehead I am still under continual doctors care for numerous medical problems that all arose during that episode. I require regular visits to my neurologist, oncologist, dermatologist, rheumatologist, gastroenterologist and hearing and eye specialists.
In addition to the most recent diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease, I continue to have leucopenia (low white cell count), thrombocytopenia (an impaired platelet production), fibromyalgia, sjogrens syndrome, osteoarthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, deteriorating hearing loss, and a variety of other symptoms my rheumatologist has identified as autoimmune related but cannot specifically diagnose. In addition, I continue to require MOHs surgeries for BCC / SCC along with general AK treatments.
My rheumatologist recently stated that I was presenting so many different and over-lapping autoimmune related conditions that we may never figure out all that is occurring, but that one thing we can count on happening is that from all that is known my condition will continue to decline over time.
Basically every condition listed above manifested over a 21-day period beginning on my first day of Aldara use for a simple BCC. None of these conditions or diseases is found in either side of my family’s medical histories. I had always enjoyed excellent health with absolutely no sign of any of these conditions or diseases until the day I first applied Aldara to my forehead.
